The intriguing history of the Stone of Destiny and its local connections, mapping Ulster-Scots elements of Co Antrim and the memories brought back by a song.

The Stone of Scone – or Stone of Destiny – has a central role in the Coronation in May, but should it be in England, Scotland – or Ulster? Dr David Hume tells the team about the intrigue and mystique surrounding the stone.
Helen Mark meets Rachel Garrett to hear about the Ulster-Scots elements on a new interactive map of Co Antrim. There’s a heart-song from Paddy McEvoy – a tune that takes him back to his childhood and David Gilliland has news of events and workshops of interest to musicians and would-be bakers.

Rab Lennox and Jonnie Crawford complete this week’s team.
As always, listeners are encouraged to contact the programme if they’ve a good Ulster-Scots yarn, song or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email - kintra@bbc.co.uk.
