This morning her guest is chef and TV presenter Shivi Ramoutar. She is a regular guest on 大象传媒鈥檚 Saturday Kitchen and has previously hosted the show as well as been a regular on ITV鈥檚 This Morning. She tells Kate about her journey with food and how it continues with each change in her life, and why, with sky-rocketing food prices, she wants to inspire people to maximise the ingredients they have in their kitchen and use time efficiently to cook.
Also, author and regular Pause for Thought contributor Cathy Madavan joins to tell us about her book, Less Means More: Making Space for What Matters Most. During the writing process, Cathy and her husband suddenly faced circumstances where they had to sell their house, leave their jobs and the friendships and community they lived in, and move into a friend鈥檚 spare room, meaning Cathy鈥檚 life was unexpectedly stripped of most of the things she was attached to, and she was forced to reckon with her own theory: can less really mean more? Cathy shares her moving story and the precious, faith-filled lesson it taught her.
