"A man asked me the time this morning," Sean says, "and I was in two minds whether to tell him or not, because of his approach. I knew the time all right. I was on my way to an appointment and I'd checked the clock in the car. I heard this man yelling, 'Hoy! Oy! Oy! Oy!' I didn't know what was going on. I thought maybe I'd parked in the wrong spot. 'What?' I said. 'What time is it?' he said. And I thought, should I tell him or should I not? I gave myself a second. He asked again, and I told him: 'It's half twelve.' And he answered, 'Aye. Right.' And I wanted to take my time back off him. What's wrong with asking, 'excuse me, you wouldn't have the time, would you?' And then when they told you, you'd say, 'Thank you.'"
