Catrin Nye is back with a new series of The Idea 鈥� food for the mind and inspiration for the soul. This week鈥檚 theme is Letting The Future In 鈥� in which three speakers share their wisdom and experience on the subject of working with children. Dr Jo Watkins runs a project aimed at building self-confidence among teenage girls. One of her startling insights is that teaching them to smile can really make a difference. Dr Matluba Khan is an urban design expert who says we would have nicer neighbourhoods if we involved children in planning them. And trainer and coach Cath Corrie wants us to stop telling children things: we will get the best out of them if we let them find out for themselves.
