On this Easter Day we鈥檝e reached the seventh and final service in our series entitled Reasons to be Joyful centred on St David; it was 900 years ago that he was recognised as patron saint of Wales by Pope Calixtus II. Many will be familiar with St David鈥檚 words: 'Be joyful, keep the faith, and do the little things that you have heard and seen in me.鈥�

In this special service from Bangor, the Most Revd Andrew John, Archbishop of Wales explores the theme of Hope and considers how the disciples also kept the faith following the events of the first Easter. Readings are taken from Ezekiel 37:1-10 and Matthew 28: 1- 8.

The Bangor Cathedral Choir is directed by Joe Cooper accompanied by the Cathedral Organist Martin Brown. Hymns and Easter carols include 鈥淐hrist the Lord is risen again鈥�, 鈥淣ow the green blade riseth鈥�, 鈥淭his joyful Eastertide鈥�, 鈥淔e dorrodd y wawr鈥� and 鈥淭hine be the glory鈥�.
