A closer look at the many Ulster-Scots who played a role in the formation and leadership of the United States of America – as well as the 'First Lady' of the country’s civil rights movement.
Jonnie Crawford takes a closer look at the surprisingly large number of Ulster-Scots who played their part in the formation of the United States of America. From the Declaration of Independence through the list of US Presidents and the battle against racial segregation, the ancestral roots of a surprising number of movers and shakers are to be found within the Ulster-Scots community.
Also taking part are Mark Thompson, Alister McReynolds, Dr William Roulston, Gordon Lucy and Deirdre Speer-Whyte. The narrators are Jennifer Burchill Shamy and Jim Isbell.
