Cerys curates an eclectic Sunday morning selection and chats to steel pan virtuoso Leon Foster Thomas.

Leon Foster Thomas blends his Caribbean roots with the harmonic and improvisational complexities of jazz to create his unique sound. He has won the World Steelband Music Festival's competitions in 2002 and 2004, performed at jazz festivals around the world and worked with Hugh Masekela, Vince Mendoza, and Dolly Parton. He's recently released his album Calasanitus, an album dedicated and in tribute to his mother, with each song written with a storyline that connects to Hillouise Calasanitus Foster.

Plus Cerys hears from Buena Vista Social Club's Eliades Ochoa and from Chilean born, Liverpool based Francisco Carrasco who from the band Grupo Luma on writing songs in different languages.

All wrapped up with Cerys' favourite new discoveries and vintage classics to keep you company. Expect new music from Huw Marc Bennett, Clare Sands, The Tallest Man on Earth, BC Camplight and Sunborn with classics from Miles Davis, Duke Ellington and Dorothy Ashby.
