Episode 18
Nigel Havers hosts as five dealers bid to buy items brought in by the public, including a tiki bar, an Evel Knievel doll, a 1960s Triang desk and a six-foot tuna.
Nigel Havers welcomes five more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
The first seller to arrive is Ashley, with a hand-painted six-foot tuna that he wants to sell so he can buy a fibreglass gorilla. The resin tuna is a fun advertising piece, and Simon thinks it will grab the attention of the dealers, but which one will be reeled in?
Arriving next is Sohail, with a tiki bar that he rescued from a garage. It鈥檚 on trend and useable, but will the bidders pay what he鈥檚 hoping to get?
Next to face the dealers is Michelle, with a mid-century chair that she bought from a junk shop for 拢15. Linked to famous designer Ingmar Relling, could this purchase turn into the sale of the century when she meets the dealers?
Stuntman David has brought along a 1976 toy that inspired his career. His Evel Knievel doll and Stunt World canyon jump set is both complete and rare. Can David use its nostalgic qualities to help him leap towards a stellar sale?
Finally, Catherine wants to sell a tiny desk and chair that she has owned since childhood. Having lived in the loft for a number of years, it鈥檚 time for the 1960s Triang desk to start a new life, but which of our five dealers will that be with?
Today's dealers are Melissa, Jo, Moses, Ian, Adi, Lucy, Lauren, JB and Estelle.
