Kate Molleson reports from last year's Tectonics Glasgow which took place at City Halls and featured an adventurous mix of new orchestral work, improvised and electronic music.

Kate Molleson presents music from last year's Tectonics Glasgow, the annual two-day festival co-curated by Ilan Volkov and Alasdair Campbell and which takes place over a weekend at City Halls. In tonight's programme we hear the world premieres of 大象传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra commissions by Linda Buckley and Scott McLaughlin, alongside electronic and improvised sets recorded in the Old Fruitmarket throughout the day including computer music pioneer Carl Stone and Colombian-born experimentalist Lucrecia Dalt. (Rpt).
