wants to find effective treatments and a cure for epidermolysis bullosa, a severe and very painful skin condition that leads to blistering and skin loss. Those with the condition live in constant pain from burn-like wounds that never heal. Cure EB funds research into developing treatments to improve symptoms, quality-of-life and projects aiming to cure this devastating condition.

Sohana Collins has lived with the pain of EB all her life. She was part of a clinical trial we funded which provided short term relief from the excruciating symptoms. Her dream is a long term, effective treatment to enable her to live a normal pain free life. 

Our primary goal is to fix the genes which cause EB.  We fund research which focus on this and quality of life improvements. We work closely with the NHS to develop pathways to accelerate effective treatments into routine clinical care.

Cure EB hosts regular research update meetings, bringing leading experts together to keep the EB community up-to-date with developments. Family day events also provide a fun environment for EB families who want to stay informed about latest medical advances.
