Ezra Furman and Laura Jane Grace share their musical influences, passions and lives as they continue 6 Music's Loud and Proud season, celebrating LGBTQ+ voices throughout June.

Formally the lead singer and guitarist for Ezra Furman and the Harpoons, Ezra is now a solo musician and songwriter releasing 6 studio albums. Ezra also provided the soundtrack for drama-comedy TV show Sex Education.

And Laura Jane Grace is best known as the lead singer of the punk rock band Against Me!, as well as Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers, a solo project she started in 2016! Laura is notable for being one of the first highly visible punk rock musicians to come out as transgender after she publicly came out in May 2012.

Throughout the show, Ezra & Laura share a timeline of the artists they have met throughout their careers, and thusly inspired and shaped them to become the talented musicians we know them as today!
