Chamber Music from Radio 3's New Generation Artists: mezzo-soprano Helen Charlston opens this afternoon's sequence of music with a song by Schubert about quiet Lake Erlaf. Pianist Tom Borrow was recently announced as this year's winner of the Terence Judd-Hall茅 Award and today we'll hear him in Scriabin.
The sequence ends with the Mithras Trio playing the final movement of Mozart's sunny Trio in B flat major, K.502.
