An animated 'Granda' heads off round Ulster, writing in Ulster-Scots give new purpose, and a fresh start for the piping world.

鈥淕randa鈥檚 Fir Aff鈥 round Ulster with his dog in a new animation, the local piping world has a new leader, and the writer whose finding new purpose in using Ulster-Scots words.

A new animation for children explores some of our favourite locations for outings in the company of Granda and his wee dog and introduces some basic Ulster-Scots words. Willie Hill hears more about it from Liam Logan.
Helen Mark talks to Aileen McCahon about using the language she grew up with in her newfound love of writing.
Rab Lennox hears about Alastair Patterson鈥檚 plans to grow more pipers for Ulster鈥檚 Pipe Band Association.
