Reopen Derry to Portadown railway - review
Restoration of the rail line between Derry and Portadown is one of the main recommendations of the long awaited All-Island Strategic Rail Review.
It's almost 60 years since trains last ran on the Great Northern line between Londonderry and Portadown. But restoration of the rail line is one of the main recommendations of the All-Island Strategic Rail Review. The review also recommends a new line between Derry and Letterkenny.
The 大象传媒's Environment correspondent, Louise Cullen, talks through the report and Steve Bradley from the rail lobby group, Into The West, reacts. Also, thousands of people take part in the opening parade of the GAA World Games through Derry city centre.
