The family of a Daniel Hegarty criticise the Public Prosecution Service for a lack of contact with them since a Court of Appeal ruling overturned the decision not to prosecute the soldier who killed him. The 15 was shot twice in the head during Operation Motorman in the Creggan estate in 1972. Daniel Hegarty's sister Margaret Brady tells The North West Today the lack of communication was causing hurt and mistrust. The PPS says it is is fully committed to engaging further with the Hegarty family.
