Dan Clark and Patrick Baladi from A KIND OF KIDNAPPING join Dermot in the studio. It's the story of 30-something couple Maggie and Brian who, both struggling to get by, decide to kidnap London politician Richard Hardy. Sadly no one wants to pay the ransom, but just before they let Hardy go he wonders if he might be able to spin the situation to his advantage if they continue to keep him hostage. Why? Well, he鈥檚 never had better PR than this and he believes the sympathy vote will help with his campaign to one day become Prime Minister. What follows is a series of lies, double crossing and even murder in this darkly comic thriller.

After drama school, Patrick Baladi joined the National Theatre where he acted alongside Martin Freeman, who would later be a co-star in the television comedy series The Office as David Brent鈥檚 manager nemesis Neil Godwin. He has also starred in the hugely successful Rush and Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason.

Recently, Patrick has starred in a number of critically-acclaimed TV series including Marcella, Line of Duty, Breeders and the global smash-hit TV series Ted Lasso.

Dan 'DG' Clark began his career as a comedian and actor. He鈥檚 probably best known for playing loveable loser Don Danbury in the cult hit 大象传媒 comedy How Not to Live Your Life, which ran for three seasons and a Christmas special. As well as starring in the show he wrote every episode, co-produced each season and directed several episodes.

As a stand-up comedian, he enjoyed several sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival, toured the UK with four different comedy specials and has performed in Berlin, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
