Derry's Feis returns to St Columb's Hall

As the first money is being spent on restoring St Columb's Hall - 拢750,000 from the National Lottery - the Derry Feis can now return to its spiritual home.

You may have seen the cranes working on St Columb's Hall on Orchard Street in Derry. Well, the first money is being spent on restoring the beautiful old building, some three-quarters of a million pounds from the National Lottery, and it means that the Derry Feis can now return to its spiritual home. Mark meets two of the festival's stalwarts, Pat McCafferty and Ursula Clifford.

Also a documentary which follows the journey of advocate Diane Cotter and researcher Graham Peaslee to highlight the effects of flame retardants used in firefighters uniforms will be screened at the Nerve Centre later. 'Burned' is being shown as part of the Feile programme and Mark is joined by Jackie Loughrey of local cancer group Hive (formerly the Pink Ladies) and Jim Quinn Executive Council Member of the FBU in NI.
