Lauren is joined live in the studio by the legendary MC Tippa Irie, who publishes his autobiography Stick To My Roots on 24th August. With a career lasting over forty years, Tippa first rose to prominence in the early 1980s as part of the South London reggae soundsystem Saxon Studio International. He then began his solo career, playing shows all around the world and collaborating with a series of other artists - including Maxi Priest, Jurassic 5, UB40, Aswad, Congo Natty and Black Eyed Peas, to name just a few. More recently, he's been touring with David Rodigan and the Outlook Orchestra as well as presenting radio shows, DJ'ing and running his own studio.
