Christian Tetzlaff plays Elgar's passionate Violin Concerto with the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra at the Proms, plus Schumann's 'Spring' Symphony and music by Judith Weir.

Penny Gore introduces an afternoon of classical music, including another chance to hear Elgar's Violin Concerto at the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Proms, with Christian Tetzlaff. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra and Sakari Oramo also play Schumann's 'Spring' Symphony and a new work by Judith Weir.

We also hear Klaus Florian Vogt in songs by Richard Strauss, and Mel Bonis's orchestral interpretation of Salome.
