Episode 27
Nigel Havers hosts as five dealers battle each other to buy items brought in by the public, including a set of tiny Swedish horses and some pristine mid-century lampshades.
Nigel Havers welcomes five more sets of sellers to the Bidding Room, where they will try to persuade one of the five dealers to buy the items they are trying to sell.
First through the doors is Mark, with a family of four tiny, decorative horses. The figures in this hand-painted set from the 1970s are all individually decorated and collectable. So, which of our five buyers will be fighting to own them?
Arriving next are mother and daughter Suzie and Cody. They have brought along a game that鈥檚 been in the family since the 1970s. Nostalgic, functional and in great condition, can this retro toy stir up a frenzy when the dealers get to play it?
Next up is Idana, with a decorative yet curious brush in the shape of a lady, perfect for dinner parties. Simon reveals that this pocket-sized table brush has a very useful function. Which of our dealers will battle it out to be the new owner when they learn what it is?
Fourth into the Bidding Room is Martin, with a set of candy-striped glass lampshades in pristine condition that look good enough to eat. Simon and Nigel are impressed - but will the dealers agree?
Last in are Natasha and her son Kai. They have brought along a coin-operated deer ride that has been living in Natasha's mother鈥檚 lounge for the last three years. It is fun and in perfect working order. Which one of our dealers will refuse to leave without it?
The dealers in today are JB, Ian, Lauren, Estelle and Lucy.
