Jennifer Lucy Allan explores the work of musicians who opt to let go of their creative control. What new sounds and freedoms can ceding the artistic reins bring? The playlist includes an iteration of John Cage's famous chance operations, the sound of wind-strummed aeolian harps and the algorithmic computer music of UK artist Mark Fell.
