'I forgive my sister's killer'

A Derry woman whose teenage sister was murdered by the IRA says she forgives the killer. Kathleen Feeney was just 14 when she was shot dead in November 1973.

A Derry woman whose teenage sister was murdered by the IRA says she forgives the killer. Kathleen Feeney was just 14 when she was shot dead in November 1973.
The IRA blamed the Army for shooting the teenager, however in 2005 accepted that one of its members was responsible and apologised to the Feeney family.
Kathleen's sister Mary Morrison told North West Today forgiving the gunman has helped her and that those involved in the murder should be 'prayed for'.
