This week, Bob's joined in the studio by Eric Paslay, who'll be playing live ahead of his sell-out UK tour, which starts in Cardiff tomorrow.

Eric's a platinum-selling singer/songwriter with a sound rooted in relatable and catchy Nashville-style contemporary country. After finding mainstream success in 2011 with "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," a song he co-penned for Jake Owen, Paslay struck gold on his own with his 2014 self-titled debut, which included the hits "Friday Night," "Song About a Girl," and "She Don't Love You." The following year, he earned a Grammy nomination for his appearance (with Dierks Bentley) on Charles Kelley's "The Driver," and in 2017, he issued The Work Tapes EP. His sophomore long-player, Nice Guy, appeared in 2020, and in 2022, he co-penned Keith Urban's "Wild Hearts" and released Even If It Breaks Your Barefoot Friday Night, a collection of newly recorded versions of some of his biggest hits. In addition to his solo work, Paslay has written number-one hits for Rascal Flatts, Love and Theft, and the Eli Young Band.
