A local judge raises fresh concerns about the impact of domestic violence and says prosecutions should be considered if there is a proven link between domestic abuse and suicide.
District Judge Barney McElholm said 'we owe the victim, their families, friends and society a duty' to look into cases where domestic abuse has led to suicide.
