Clive Myrie introduces an hour of classical favourites to celebrate the festive season

On Sunday lunchtimes throughout December, Clive Myrie presents four hour-long shows to celebrate the festive season. Clive will gradually build the seasonal atmosphere over the month, with a feast of Advent and Christmas classical music alongside some of his personal discoveries.

In today's show, on the First Sunday of Advent, Clive introduces a Christmas Overture from Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, beautiful carols sung by the Choir of St. John鈥檚 College, Cambridge and Voces 8, joyful music from JS Bach, a sleigh ride by Mozart and American jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi鈥檚 take on A Charlie Brown Christmas.
