拢1,500 Each Up North

Episode 16 of 25

Antiques experts Natasha Raskin Sharp and Ishy Khan point their classic car to Northumberland in search of profit-making collectibles. Candelabra and militaria go under the gavel.

We blast off in sunny Northumberland with dream team Natasha Raskin Sharp and Ishy Khan. Armed with 拢1,500 each to last them the entire week, they are limbering up for a battle for auction wins. Whoever clinches the most auction victories will be the ultimate road trip champ.

Natasha is drawn to a whimsical French, 19th-century candelabrum in Berwick-upon-Tweed, while Ishy makes best friends with a family of teddies and the cutest Jack Russell ever. He then discovers a spectacular military treasure, a visitor book of the general office commanding in Cairo in the late 1920s. He also adds to his collection with a majolica charger and a rather snazzy Rolls Royce table lighter.

Our intrepid explorers stop off in the Toon to find out about the origins of the word geordie, and Ishy takes to the stage with a band of local folk singers. But we also have an auction to attend. Who will be the first champion of this rip-roaring adventure?
