Sound of Cinema is in concert this Christmas with the 大象传媒 Philharmonic and conductor Ben Palmer offering a festive mix of film music from across the decades. Matthew Sweet introduces scores from timeless classics such A Christmas Carol, It鈥檚 a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. Also included in the mix is the music for Gremlins and The Chronicles of Narnia plus an exuberant orchestral journey aboard The Polar Express; and Matthew, Ben and the orchestra are joined by the singer Nina Bennett for a Christmas moment marking the 60th anniversary of Dr Who.
