In the final episode of the series, Ryan and Ari play their favourite songs from films, inspired by their love of creating film scores outside of their work in Gabriels. They鈥檒l shed light on what makes the perfect song from a film and how songs can the set the scene, featuring tracks from Bob Dylan, Massive Attack, Underworld and many more.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2016, they鈥檙e known for their infectious fusion of soul, gospel and pop, releasing their debut album Angels & Queens just last year. They鈥檝e had a huge year with a stunning performance at Glastonbury and were named as one of 6 Music鈥檚 inaugural Artists of the Year for 2023. Now they make their 6 Music presenting debut as Artist in Residence, sharing songs that inform their creative processes and soundtrack their lives.

6 Music鈥檚 Artist in Residence series airs Monday-Thursday 9pm-10pm w/c 18th and w/c 25th December and is a journey into the musical soul of an artist, based around a theme or mood. Each episode finds the host playing records that have informed specific periods of their life.
