Jack Docherty

Join Scottish comedy great Jack Docherty as he picks the music that has sound-tracked his life.

The Scottish actor, comedian and writer chooses a playlist from the heart. From his early student days head banging to Status Quo to his newly found love for Taylor Swift. His passion for music and the arts shines through in this programme which spans the decades and includes greats such as Stevie Wonder, Kirsty MacColl and Joy Division. There's also new music from the likes of Young Fathers and Hope Tala. The comedy star also shares memories of his all time favourite gig and reveals what not to say when you bump into Kate Bush in the kitchen at a house party.

Jack Docherty is a stalwart of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and first found main stream success writing for comedy shows such as Spitting Image and Vic Reeves Big Night Out. He went on to write for some of the biggest comedy shows on Television such as Trigger Happy TV and as an actor he's best known for his work on the cult comedy sketch show Absolutely. He also holds the title of Scotland's favourite police man, Chief Commissioner Cameron Miekelson in 大象传媒 Scotland's hit comedy Scot Squad.
