Trumpet superstar James Morrison introduces the best brass music around, with recordings by Allen Vizzutti and Colectiva, plus new music by the McNasty Brass Band, Fundi, and TGB.

James Morrison returns for another hour of brilliant brass music, in all styles: everything from pop covers of Cyndi Lauper and Adele, to arrangements of music by Michel Legrand and John Zorn, featuring the Spike Orchestra. There are phenomenal recordings by trumpet superstar Allen Vizzutti, and bass trombone virtuoso Lionel Fumeaux, plus Jazz at Lincoln Center reinterpret a children’s nursery rhyme! There is original new brass music from the McNasty Brass Band, and new UK band Fundi, plus a power trio led by Portuguese tuba giant, Sérgio Carolino. There’s something for everyone in the brassiest show on the airwaves, Top Brass.
