Sigrid is a huge Neil Young fan, so marks over 60 years of him making music by sharing stories from his career and some of her Neil Young favourite songs, that mean so much to her.
Norwegian pop star Sigrid is a huge fan of Neil Young, as is her whole family.
Her father and mother got together through a shared love of his music, and along with her brother and sister, they have spent many years playing his songs together around the piano in the family home.
Sigrid wants to share her passion for Neil Young with the world, who has been making music for over 60 years.
Alongside an incredible back catalogue of songs, including Old Man, Southern Man, Who鈥檚 Gonna Stand Up and My My Hey Hey to name just a few, there are some remarkable stories to be told.
There鈥檚 the time he was sued by his own record label for making music 鈥渘ot representative of Neil Young鈥�.
Emily Eavis discusses how his songs have raised awareness of climate change, along with director of Music Declares Emergency Fay Milton.
His relationship with Lynyrd Skynyrd, who wrote the track Sweet Home Alabama as a response to his song Southern Man, with Lynyrd Skynyrd super fan Iain Monk.
