Jocelyn Rendall, Rob Flett and a cast of local voices bring Orkney's history to life with stories drawn from papers and letters held in the Orkney Archives

Jocelyn Rendall, Rob Flett and a cast of local voices bring Orkney's history to life with stories drawn from papers and letters held in the Orkney Archives. This month, Jocelyn finds out how the children of Orkney's gentry were sent south to receive an education and lose their Orkney accents. We follow the offspring - those who returned home to become lairds, and those who went abroad in the pursuit of riches. And we travel across India with a young Frederick Burroughs, fidning a different side to the man who would go on to become Rousay's infamous Little General.
