Huw catches up with Alex Bleeker and Martin Courtney from Real Estate as they release their sixth album Daniel.

Formed in 2008 in New Jersey, Real Estate broke through with their second album Days, released in 2011 on Domino Records. The band were one of many who saw the release of their last album (The Main Thing) disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns - released in February 2020. Unable to tour, the band worked on other songwriting projects, and in Martin Courtney's words, adopted a more relaxed approach to their writing and recording. Alex Bleeker has commented that their new album, Daniel, which came out on Friday, has felt like a "comeback record, even though we never went anywhere".
