Last night David Tennant hosted the biggest night in British cinema 鈥� the 77th British Film Academy Awards, better known as the Film BAFTAs. Afternoon Show film critics Raisah Ahmed and Anna Smith were in full BAFTA mode last night and are here to tell us all about it.

19-year-old pianist Ben Shankland won 大象传媒 Radio Scotland's Young Jazz Musician 2023 award and one of the prizes was a live music session here on The Afternoon Show, and today鈥檚 the day he鈥檚 going to perform for us live with The Ben Shankland Trio.

Curator Joseph Sharples will talk about Stage and Screen - Designs from the James L Gordon Collection, which is on at the Hunterian at Glasgow University.

Plus, the so-called Springsteen of Merseyside Ian Prowse is about to tour the UK including a couple of dates next month in Glasgow, playing songs from his career retrospective, The Story of Ian Prowse.
