Thursday Theme: Pi Day! Plus the Road Trip with Beth Ditto

Beth Ditto from Gossip joins us for the Road Trip, and the Thursday Theme: songs related to maths and numbers for Pi Day!

It's the return of the Road Trip! Ahead of the release of their new album, Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto takes us on an imaginary journey to a destination of her choice and picks the playlist for the ride.

Gossip's new album Real Power will be out on the 22nd of March. It will be their sixth album, and their first record in twelve years 鈥� and sees the trio re-unite with legendary producer Rick Rubin, who worked on their 2006 breakout album Standing in the Way of Control and the 2009 follow-up Music for Men. After headlining the 6 Music Festival this month, the band will return to the UK in September.

And Jo has the Thursday Theme: Pi Day! The14th of March is Pi Day, the International Day of Mathematics, and we're after your numerical and mathematical song requests... It could be tracks that mention numbers, have equations in the titles, or are related to maths.
