A joyously classical Sunday mix

Sarah Walker chooses three hours of attractive and uplifting music to complement your morning, whether you鈥檙e reconnecting with the outdoors or enjoying a late breakfast.

Sarah Walker chooses three hours of attractive and uplifting music to complement your morning.

In today鈥檚 programme, mezzo-soprano Anna Bonitatibus triumphs as one of Handel鈥檚 heroines, saxophonist Amy Dickson turns her talents to the music of Gerald Finzi, and pianist Stephen Hough plays Hummel with elegance and wit.

Sean Shibe also weaves delicate harmonies together in a work by a fellow guitarist and one of Paraguay鈥檚 most celebrated composers, and we hear a reflective pairing of harp and orchestra from Mexican composer Arturo M谩rquez.
