Tackling Bovine TB

Dr Dick Sibley talks tackling bovine TB, weather woes for farmers and a farm right in the heart of Belfast city centre.

Presenter, Nicola Weir, speaks to Devonshire vet and former member of the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Bovine TB Partnership, Dr Dick Sibley, about his experimental farm and how he believes a radical shake up of the strategy to tackle the disease needs to happen here and across the UK. Nicola also speaks to Heather Stewart, who has started sheep farming in Ballymena and believes she’s working with the ‘supermodels’ of the sheep world. We also head to West Belfast and St James Community Farm which is giving city dwellers the chance of getting involved in the agricultural sector.
