Meet Mama Pasto
After losing her job, Mama Pasto couldn鈥檛 afford to send her children to school.聽 She was trained as a 鈥渃ommunity collector鈥� with WasteAid, and now makes a living collecting and selling on plastic waste she collects from clogged local waterways.聽

You can help others achieve financial stability, all while cleaning their local environment. WasteAid works to empower waste collectors, some of the most marginalised and underpaid workers on the planet, to earn a decent livelihood 鈥� and safely!聽聽

Thanks to the training Mama Pasto received, her children are now in school, and she has a more secure future. She is proud to pass on what she has learned, too. She says 鈥淚 can say I have left a legacy, and young people are working because of me.鈥澛�
