Kate Nash plays a Sofa Session for Jo, including songs from her new album 9 Sad Symphonies and a previously unheard cover.

9 Sad Symphonies is the first new album in six years from singer Kate Nash. Due for release on 21st June, Kate describes the new record as "cinematic and dreamy", with inspiration taken from old Hollywood glamour, vintage musicals, and the pursuit of beauty in a chaotic world. She will play two headline shows in London in May and November, and will be at Vegan Campout Festival, Kendal Calling, Boardmasters and the Big Feastival this summer.

Since releasing her chart-topping debut album Made Of Bricks in 2007, Kate has toured the world, released a total of four albums, won the BRIT Award for British Female Solo Artist and was nominated for an Ivor Novello. She also starred in the hit Netflix series GLOW, about women's wrestling.

Ahead of the release of her new album, Kate Nash joins Jo live at the legendary Maida Vale studios.
