In this episode, cameras follow a crew from Buckie as they attend to a woman who has been found unconscious on the street in the early hours of the morning.

At the ambulance control centres, we see two call handlers use their skills to try and identify symptoms of a stroke and to support a caller who is feeling suicidal.

In Aberdeen, an ambulance crew help a man who has suffered a gruesome leg injury, while, in Dunfermline, crewmates Davie and Eileen are called to a woman who has fallen at home. They also assist a man who was found unconscious in the street.

Air ambulance paramedics have a busy shift as they are called to a busy road in Argyll, where a motorcyclist has been in a collision with a car and needs to reach a hospital as quickly as possible.
