American bassoonist and composer Joy Guidry joins Jamz for a chat about her music journey so far and her latest project, Amen, which came out on 10th May via Whited Sepulchre Records. Guidry was born in Houston and first became interested in music through her exposure to gospel music at church. The new album explores healing and peace and features contributions by Niecy Blues, Kalia Vandever, Jillian Grace, and Jessie Cox.

Jamz also gets the weekend party started with an uplifting array of alternative RnB, hip-hop, broken beat, global club sounds and leftfield electronica, supporting new music from the UK and further afield, whilst playing heritage artists that have come before.
