30 minutes of classical inspiration
Take time out with a 30-minute soundscape of classical favourites, including music by Handel, Grace Williams and Reynaldo Hahn.
One of Handel's most exquisite arias from his Ode on St Cecilia's Day opens today's Classical Mixtape, leading to half an hour of back to back classical music to help wind down at the end of a busy day. Enjoy serenades from Glazunov's troubadour and Reynaldo Hahn's love sick gondolier, sitting alongside the searing and beautiful harmonies of Herbert Howells' Requiem, and a yearning harp melody from Grace Williams.
