After thirty years on the New York jazz scene, Joel Frahm has made a name for himself as one of the most accomplished purveyors of the big tenor sax sound. He and his trio certainly delivered that and much more when they performed at Scott's Jazz Club on the 12th April 2024. A frequent collaborator of legendary pianist Brad Melhdau, Joel's work as leader, sideman and original composer has been acclaimed in various publications around the world. Joining him in this performance were the exceptional Dan Loomis on Bass and Ernesto Cervini on drums.
