Aaron Dessner is best known to many as the guitarist in American band The National, alongside his twin Bryce Dessner. The band have been together for twenty-five years, have released ten studio albums in that time and are coming back to the UK in June/July this year to headline The Other Stage at Glastonbury and play other live shows in Cardiff, Cornwall, Manchester, London and Edinburgh. He is also an in-demand music producer and songwriter having worked with the likes of Sharon Van Etten, Brian Eno, Frightened Rabbit as well as some huge pop artists like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.

Joining The National for several of their UK shows this summer will be This Is The Kit, the band fronted by Kate Stables. Kate and Aaron worked together on This Is The Kit's 2015 album Bashed Out. In total, Kate has released six studios albums as This Is The Kit, as well as their most recent release - Live At The Minack Theatre - an album recorded at an open air theatre in Cornwall in May 2023 and released on 11th June.
