Shania Twain Chooses her Tracks Of My Years
Global country-pop superstar Shania Twain shares her Tracks of My Years all week ahead of her Glastonbury performance this Sunday. Plus Ten to the Top and Vernon's Vault.
Global country-pop superstar Shania Twain joins Vernon all week on Tracks of my Years, choosing 10 of the most influential songs in her life.
Shania is one of the best-selling artists of all time, having sold over 100 million albums and receiving 5 Grammy awards along the way. Her 1997 album ‘Come On Over’ was in the chart for 3 years, 11 weeks of which it was at number 1, and is the biggest selling studio album in the UK by an international female artist. She’s also the only woman to have had three albums go ‘Diamond’ in the United States, selling over 10 million copies each.
Having recently completed her third Las Vegas residency, Shania is now gearing up for a run of dates in the UK and Ireland over the next month or so. As part of this, she’s appearing in the Sunday ‘legends’ slot on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this weekend!
Her UK and Ireland tour runs until early July, and a special collector’s limited edition of ‘Shania Twain’s Greatest Hits’ is out now.
Shania’s first two choices come from The Carpenters and Bread.
Vernon also hosts another edition of Ten To The Top, and we take a dive into Vernon’s Vault, where we uncover even more forgotten treasures from the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Archive.
