Jools welcomes to the show Dublin band Fontaines D.C. with a couple of tracks from their fourth album Romance; singer-songwriter and pianist Lucy Rose, who performs two songs from her fifth album, This Ain't the Way You Go Out; Nigerian superstar Tems, who performs her single Love Me Jeje from her recent album Born in the Wild; American blues and country singer Charley Crockett, who with his band performs Solitary Road from his 13th album, $10 Cowboy; and Derbyshire singer-songwriter Paris Paloma, who makes her debut with her viral hit Labour.
And Jools also chats to legendary Scottish singer Lulu about her retirement tour Champagne for Lulu and her performance at Glastonbury 2024, and also join together at the piano to perform Unchain My Heart, originally recorded by Lulu鈥檚 inspiration Ray Charles.
