Multi instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Laura J Martin takes you to parallel places with her Freak Zone Playlist.

In Laura's own words: "We modify our reality every time we put headphones on. When we're on a train, or when we're trying to block out the three dimensional reality around us and push it to the background. This is a selection of music that I've used to hack my environment, to transport me from the mundane and travel from the present to the past and onwards to the future. This is music across genres, amongst other choices there are high school percussion bands, modern Turkish sound works, and 70's Californian new-age thrown in for good measure. What they have in common is the ability to transform and transport."
