Inspired by 大象传媒 Archive footage of young footballer Noleen Black in 1970s Northern Ireland emerging filmmaker Aoife McGivern reimagines her story in Beyond the Goal. The film interweaves archive and drama to chart the rise of women in football whilst encouraging and inspiring the next generation of female players.
