Episode 2
Miriam Margolyes scouts the freedom hotspot of Byron Bay, where individualism and influencers thrive. Is Byron鈥檚 idea of freedom still alive or fading fast?
Byron Bay, which sits on the easternmost point of Australia, became famous as a beacon of creativity and freedom. And now Miriam, on her quest to better herself, is keen to see if this is still a place where anything goes, if it's changing, and if indulging in all this 'freedom' does anything for the community.
Beneath the carefree exterior of the town, she learns about the issues affecting it, as well as catching up with local influencers, hippies and surfers to experience the fun and unusual activities that bring people to the area.
