Ceara N铆 Choinn talks to four women who were born in the 1960s. Among the topics discussed, former primary school principal Fionnghuala Nic Oitir tells about her life in a busy family in the heart of West Belfast during the transformative 1960s. The writer R茅alt谩n N铆 Leann谩in draws on her memories of growing up in Belfast, her home city which inspired many of her own stories. Former librarian Mary Delargy remembers Bloody Sunday and folklorist Dr Bairbre N铆 Fhloinn talks about her childhood days listening to her elders, voices that told stories about fairies and witches.
